Muirfield Village is a planned community in Dublin, Ohio (ZIP 43017), built around the Jack Nicklaus–designed Muirfield Village Golf Club. Nicklaus acquired the land in 1966, and the course was dedicated on Memorial Day 1974. His vision, as the Muirfield Association describes it, was a world-class golf course surrounded by a residential community whose homes blend with the land.
Today the neighborhood is defined by mature trees, winding streets and cul-de-sacs, more than 250 acres of Association-owned open space, fishing lakes, and a paved pathway network of more than 29 miles that runs through wooded areas and along the golf course.
The Muirfield Association, Inc. maintains the common areas and two recreation complexes, and its property regulations (set out in the warranty deed and the Muirfield Property Handbook) guide exterior changes to homes. Buyers should review those documents, along with the current assessment, before making an offer.
Most homes in Muirfield Village are detached single-family homes on wooded, landscaped or golf-course lots, with a smaller number of condominiums.
Recent listings range from ranch and first-floor-primary layouts to larger two-story homes, often with finished lower levels and three-car garages. Golf-course frontage, lot privacy, square footage and the level of updating drive most of the price differences from street to street.
The private club's 18-hole Nicklaus course sits on 220 acres and has hosted the 1987 Ryder Cup, the 1992 U.S. Amateur and the 1998 Solheim Cup. It has been home to the Memorial Tournament, an annual PGA TOUR event, since 1976; 2026 marked the tournament's 50th anniversary.
The 2027 tournament week is scheduled for May 31 – June 6, 2027. If you're considering a home close to the club, ask how tournament week affects traffic and access on that street.
